Overview
As a communication designer and illustrator, I have always loved thinking about color. I was romanced by my color theory in college when we studied Itten’s ‘The Elements of Color’. In the 2000s, I loved scrolling through the design blog called Design Seeds (which is still around btw) and marveling at her travels and color palettes.
Recently, I bought a Japanese color palette guide called ‘A Dictionary of Color Combinations’. As as someone who used to have to provide swatches to printers for packaging, I love Pantone books to this day. All go this is to say I found t fun making this web app. Check it out here. It was also a great way to play with Replit.
